 Mandy May Gottschalk, 36 of Washington Ave. Ashtabula died at her home. She was born July 3, 1979 in Fayetteville, North Carolina the daughter of Marvin and Barbara (Hall) Elam II.

She was employed with MFG Company in Ashtabula and she also enjoyed waitressing. She loved spending time with her friends, her family and her dog “Hank”.

Surviving her is her parents; Marvin (Rhonda) Elam II of Texas and Barbara Hall Carraher of Ashtabula; four children, Savanah Gottschalk of Ashtabula, Dylan Gottschalk of Ashtabula, Olivia Pirigyi of Jefferson and Wyatt Pirigyi  of Jefferson; her brothers and sisters, Marvin III, Mark, Megan, Marissa, Cody, Lyndsee and Hunter; her paternal grandparents, Marvin (Sue) Elam, Sr of Texas; her maternal grandmother, Linda Peterson Hall of Conneaut; her significant other, Matt Pirigyi of Jefferson the father of Olivia and Wyatt; his parents, Chris and Melissa Pirigyi of Jefferson; her ex husband, James  Gottschalk the father of Savanah and Dylan of Erie, Pa. She was deeply loved and missed by several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends. She was preceded by her Maternal grandparents, Willard C. Hall and Dorothy Hall.

Funeral service will be Friday (August 28th) at 12:00 PM at the Ashtabula Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 526 West Prospect Rd. Ashtabula with Rev. Duane Ball of the Harvest International Church officiating. Burial will be in Saybrook Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Huntington Bank c/o Mandy Gottschalk account.

The family would like to thank the Ashtabula Community, Radio stations, TV stations, search volunteers and MFG for all their love, prayers, and support;  and a special thank you to the Ashtabula County Sheriff Department especially Sgt. Cumberledge and Ashtabula Police Department.
