Robin L. Vanek, age 68, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the Ashtabula County Medical

Center, with her children at her side.  She was born on February 2, 1949 in Cleveland,

the daughter of Ronald L. & Betty Rose (Wondracek) Vanek.

She has been a resident of Ashtabula County for the majority of her life.  She worked as a

cashier for O & P in Ashtabula for several years, as well as many other jobs throughout her life.

She enjoyed working in her yard, going out dancing, and going to family gatherings, creating

 lasting memories for all. She loved dogs, owning many throughout her life. One of her favorite

things she loved to do was "babysit" her, grand dog Molly, whom she adored.

She is survived by her children, Tiffany M.  Vanek of Ashtabula and Travis E. Vanek of Rock

Creek; brother, Ronald (Sandy) Vanek of Rock Creek; sisters, Loraine Howard of Austinburg,

Melissa D. Fogarty of Rock Creek; her children’s father, Lynn Hubbard of Rock Creek, her

 lifetime best friend Dorothy Simon, of Rock Creek, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She will always be remembered for her one of a kind personality, and she will be truly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

The family would like to say thank you to the staff at Saybrook Landing for the kind words and

the care provided to Robin and her family.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 2:00 P. M. at Sacred Heart Church,

 3409 N. Main St., Rock Creek, Ohio 44084 with Deacon John Pallo Officiating.

Visitation will take place at the church from 1:00-2:00 P. M. prior to the service.  The Jefferson
