Susan A. McConnell, 57 of North Kingsville died Friday (July 15th) at UH Conneaut Medical Center in Conneaut. She was born May 25, 1959 in Meadville, PA the daughter of Earl Richard and Barbara Ethel (Dolan) White.

Susan has worked for over 32 years with Zehrco – Giangola Composites in Ashtabula. She loved nature and the outdoors, feeding the birds and deer. She was a big Cleveland Indian fan and enjoyed camping and sitting around the campfire. She and her sisters bowled with their mother in various tournaments. She loved being with her family and spending time with her dog “Lexi”.

Surviving her are her wo children, Mandy Watson of Ashtabula and Jackie (Dana Champlin) Watson of Geneva; two step children, Dan McConnell,  of Ashtabula and Holly (Todd) Tessler of Pittsburgh, PA; her mother, Barbara Orrenmaa of North Kingsville; her step-mother, Patricia White of Linesville, PA; seven grandchildren, Tyler, Kyle, Amanda, Ashley, Hailey, Caleb and Mia; her brothers and sisters, Shirley (Roy Heath) Narducci of Kingsville, Iona (Mike) McClintock of Conneaut, Pamula (Bob) Barni of Alvin, TX, Kimberly (Tom) Burns of Conneaut, Ramona (Dean) Mast of Conneaut, Richard (Veronica) White of MD, Robert (Muffin) White of Florida and Barry (Heather) White of Oregon, Step-sister, Becky Rhoades of West Springfield, PA and a step brother, Bim Orrenmaa of Conneaut. She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Richard White; her step-father, Tapio “Bim” Orrenmaa; her husband, Patrick McConnell; her grandson, Dan McConnell, Jr. and a brother, Glenn Eugene White in infancy.

A memorial service will be Saturday (July 23rd) at 11:00 AM at the Ashtabula Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 526 W. Prospect Rd. Ashtabula, Ohio with Alisa Nierzejewski, Certified celebrant officiating.
