    Carl F. “Chuck” Reidl, 87 of Geneva-on-the-Lake died Thursday (May 4th) in the ER at UH Geneva Medical Center. He was born June 13, 1929 in Cleveland, Ohio the son of Andrew and Elizabeth (Burbach) Reidl.

He graduated from Geneva High School in 1947.  Chuck served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and then married Beverly J. Pudder on November 28, 1953.

He was self-employed for a number of years servicing furnaces for Standard Oil and retired from one of his favorite jobs working at Geneva State Park.

Chuck enjoyed hunting, fishing, photography and golfing with his friends at his favorite course “Deer Lake” in Geneva-on-the-Lake. He also repaired CB radios and in his later years, he enjoyed transferring music from records to CDs.

Surviving him is his wife, Beverly; two daughters, Kimberly Reidl and L. Beth Noce both of Ashtabula; two grandsons, Joshua and Sheamyn, a brother, John Reidl of Pennsylvania, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
