Dorothy “Bonnie” B. Baker, 95 of Plymouth Township died Tuesday (July 16th) at the Jefferson Health Care in Jefferson, Ohio. She was born February 6, 1924 in Gypsy, Pa the daughter of Donald and Della (Rowley) Trimble.
She had worked at Betty Dixon Candies and Carlisle’s Department Store retiring in 1989.
She is a member of Friends in Christ Bible Fellowship Church in Ashtabula. She is also a member of the Gideons and had been a teacher at Grace Christian Academy.
Surviving her is her son Gifford Baker of Ashtabula; a daughter, Dawn (John) Kaydo of Ashtabula; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; three sisters, Waneta Dravecky of Indiana, Pa, Gaynell Blues Moore of Homer City, Pa and Joy Livengood of Pennsylvania and two sister-in-laws, Janet Trimble and Flora Trimble. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred G. Baker in 1999; three brothers, Valjean, Dennis and Walter Trimble and a sister, Eleanor Dick.
Funeral services will be Saturday (July 20th) at 11:00 am at the Ashtabula Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 526 W. Prospect Rd. Ashtabula with her son Pastor Gifford Baker officiating. Burial will be in Saybrook Township Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Friday (July 19th) from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
