Bridget Mary Stone
Bridget Mary Stone, 57, passed away at the Cleveland Clinic on September 7, 2021, following a brief but serious illness. Her family was at her bedside when she passed.
Bridget was born in Geneva, Ohio on March 17, 1964, the daughter of Franklin E. and Reta J. (Prine) Stone, Sr.
She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Painesville. She loved to cook; she loved to go camping and fishing; she was a huge NASCAR fan; always rooting for Jeff Gordon to win; she also enjoyed watching re-runs of the Rosann Show and the Andy Griffith show.
Bridget never met a stranger, by the end of the first-time meeting someone she became a lifelong friend to that person. Her outgoing personality and huge, beautiful, warm heart will be missed by everyone that truly knows her. She never had children of her own, but to her, the 12 nieces and nephews she had as well as many of their friends, all thought “Aunt Bridget” was simply the best.
She is survived by her loving family: Mark Brooks, her loving companion and best friend for over 20 years; her siblings: Carol (Walter) Patrick, Katherine Orth, Nina Stone, Jerry (Linda) Stone, and Frank (Carrie) Stone, Jr.; her stepson Robert (Annie) Brooks; her step-grandson Luca, whom she adored; as well as many nieces and nephews, that she loved as if they were her own children.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother John C. Stone; and her brother-in-law Richard Orth.
