Cynthia (Wessell) Thompson

Cynthia (Wessell) Thompson, 61, passed away on August 5, 2022, at Eagle Pointe Skilled Nursing in Orwell, Ohio following a long illness.

Cynthia was born on July 4, 1961, in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of Dale and Ruth Ann (Scott) Wessell.

On April 19, 1997, she married the love of her life, David Thompson, they shared twenty-five wonderful years of marriage together.

Cynthia worked for over thirty years as Administrator for the  Orwell Farm Service Agency in Orwell, Ohio as well as, working on the Thompson Brother’s Family Farm.

Cynthia had many interests and hobbies: she enjoyed going to craft shows, eating out, working in her flower garden, going to her monthly “luncheons with the girl’s” and attending activities with her grandchildren.  

She is survived by her mother, Ruth Ann Cotterman, her beloved husband, David Thompson, her loving children: Gary (April) Thompson, Jackie (Ben) Bradbury, Danny (Lindsey) Thompson, Keith (Lindsey) Hall and Kyle (Nedra) Harden; her sister, Karen (Robert) Lee and her grandchildren: Trenton Thompson, Addison Hall, Aubrey Bradbury, Clayton Thompson, Lexi Hall, Logan Thompson, Haley Bradbury, Kholton Thompson, Paxton Thompson and Nyla Harden.

She is preceded in death by her father, Dale Wessell.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with a funeral service to immediately follow at Andover United Methodist Church, 181 South Main Street, Andover, Ohio. Burial will take place after the funeral service at Dodgeville/New Lyme Cemetery. The family will be having a luncheon at the church immediately following the burial.
