Janet Graf Obituary

Janet L. (Enos) Graf, 91, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2026, surrounded by the comfort and love of her home and family.

She was born on December 19, 1934, in Ashtabula, Ohio, the daughter of Philip and Theresa (Mello) Enos. Janet graduated from Edgewood High School in 1952 and went on to earn her nursing degree from Huron Road Nursing School in Cleveland, Ohio—beginning a lifelong career that perfectly reflected her compassionate and giving nature.

In 1965, she married Thomas Graf, and together they built a life centered on love, devotion, and family. Their marriage was filled with happiness, and they were blessed with three sons. Though Tom passed away in 1999, the love they shared remained a lasting foundation for their family.

Janet devoted 35 years to her work at Ashtabula General Hospital (ACMC), beginning in the maternity ward and later serving in behavioral and mental health. Nursing was more than a profession to her—it was a calling. She found deep fulfillment in caring for others, and her extraordinary kindness, patience, and empathy made her truly exceptional at what she did. The same big heart that guided her nursing career also defined her role as a wife, mother, and grandmother.

Her greatest joy was her family. Janet was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who created a home filled with warmth, support, and unconditional love. She cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren, who meant the world to her.

She also enjoyed tending to her flowers, playing cards, bowling, volunteering with local organizations, traveling to Florida in the winters, and going on cruises.

Janet is survived by her loving family: her sons, Kevin Graf and Todd (Loretta) Graf; her daughter-in-law, Carmen Graf; and her beloved grandchildren, that she absolutely adored: Clinton “C.J.” (Britainy) Graf, Zackery (Sammi) Graf, Merrick Graf, Madelyne Graf, McKenna Graf, Mason Graf, and Major Graf. She was also blessed with three great-grandchildren: Rylie, Paisleigh, and Zander; with another great-grandchild on the way. In addition, she is survived by the family of her loving companion, Robert Andrescik, including his daughters: Lynn (Mark) Spencer, Janet (Steven) Sparker, and Mary Beth (Paul) Brown.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas Graf, in 1999; her son, Eric, in 2024; and her companion, Robert Andrescik, in 2025.
