Linda G. Slanina, age 56, died Monday morning at her residence following her battle with cancer.
She was born August 21, 1964 in Ashtabula, the daughter of Garnet E. & Zelda (Blair) Mullins and has been an Ashtabula Co. resident all of her life. Linda was a graduate of Ashtabula Co. Joint Vocational School and Ashtabula High School. She married Frank W. Slanina on June 4, 1983 in Jefferson.
Linda was a beautician by trade and worked many years doing hair at the Ashtabula Co. Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She enjoyed her flowers and garden and yard statues.
Survivors include her husband, Frank; three children, Shane W. (Marija Fowler) Slanina of Harpersfield Twp., Heidi G. (Tim) Legg of Jefferson & Craig M. Slanina of Harpersfield Twp., three grandchildren, Jase, Aubree & Gabriel and a brother, Kenneth Mullins of Ashtabula.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Michael Mullins.
Graveside services will be held Monday at 1:00 PM at Harpersfield Cemetery with Pastor Kenneth Roberts of the Cook Rd. Pentecostal Church officiating. No other services will be observed. Please wear masks and practice social distancing.
