Rodney G. Hedrick, age 90 of Lenox Twp., died Wednesday, May 27, 2020 in the emergency room at the Ashtabula County Medical Center.
He was born March 17, 1930 in Richmond Twp., the son of Walter & Rose Ella (Flack) Hedrick and has been a resident of Ashtabula County most of his life. Mr. Hedrick was a U. S. Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Conrail in 1985 after many years with the railroad. Mr. Hedrick’s greatest joy was farming, raising cattle and crops.
He leaves his longtime companion of 39 years, Gloria; a sister, Eleanor Herrmann and many nieces and nephews and their families.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Don, Daryl, Robert & Raymond Hedrick; sisters, Delores Hanna & Ella Mae Herman and a nephew, Roger Herman.
Graveside services will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM at Lenox Center Cemetery with Pastor Isaac Chappell officiating. Services will begin with American Legion Neal Post #743 rendering military honors. Please observe social distancing guidelines during the service.
