Ronnie Scott

Ronnie Scott, 72, of Geneva, Ohio, passed away on May 20, 2026, at Hillcrest Medical Center.

He was born in Geneva on June 6, 1953, the son of Levander and Delois (Jones) Scott. Ronnie graduated from Geneva High School in 1972, where he excelled in track and field.

On October 20, 1973, he married the love of his life, Doretha Williams. Together, they shared a marriage filled with love, devotion, and happiness.

Ronnie enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns and the Ohio State Buckeyes, riding his bicycle, and more recently, flying his drone. He was a loving husband, father, and brother, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving family; his beloved wife of the past 52 years, Doretha Scott; his son David Scott; his siblings: Lindy Scott, Donna (Marvin) Williams, and Rosetta Scott; as well as his beloved nieces and nephews.

In keeping with his wishes, private family services will be held.
