Rose Mary Chappell, age 80 of Dorset, died unexpectedly Wednesday evening at the Ashtabula Co. Medical Center following a short illness.
She was born June 29, 1940 in Charleston, WV, the daughter of Clarence A. & Nellie Mae (Hodge) Jones and since 1976 has lived most of her life in this area.
Rose’s interests include reading and bird watching.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Lee Chappell; four children, Laura Thompson of Dorset, Austin Chappell of Painesville, Samantha Chappell of Ravenna & Triston Chappell of Savannah, MO; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Her parents; two sons; three brothers and five sisters preceded her in death.
