Terry L. Heath, Jr., age 47, died unexpectedly early Sunday morning at his residence.
He was born October 13, 1972 in Ashtabula, the son of Terry L. Heath, Sr. & Dorothy M. (Stone) Jewell and has been a Jefferson area resident all of his life. Terry was a 1991 graduate of Jefferson Area High School & the Ashtabula Co. Joint Vocational School.
Terry was married to Loretta R. Swezey on October 20, 2006 in Jefferson. He was an employee of Complete Energy Service, working in the oil field industry. Terry’s pastimes included riding motorcycles, camping, gardening, was a “Grill Master” and loved being with family, especially the grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Loretta; three children, Brandi Hopson of Jefferson, Jacob (Rie) Hopson, serving with the U. S. Air Force in Roy, UT & Caleb Willis of Dorset Twp.; two grandchildren, Chloe & Castiel Hopson; his parents, Dorothy & Jeff Jewell of Dorset Twp. and Terry & Betsy Heath, Sr. of Jefferson; his sister, Melanie (Miller) Munjas of Rock Creek; his brother, Abe (Melissa) Jewell of Kinsman and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray & Loma Stone and Doug & Joycie Heath and his father-in-law, Bryan Swezey.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM at the Jefferson Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors and Crematory, 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson with Alisa Nierzejewski, Certified Celebrant leading the service. Burial will be in Dorset Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday from 12-2 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Social distancing guidelines will be observed and masks are required at services and visitation.
