Aunt Joan, Lee, Toots, Chuck, & Dave:
We're so sorry to know Uncle John has passed. While things like this are inevitable, it's never easy to let go of ones held so dearly. It seems that almost everyone we've looked up to all our lives has left recently.
Uncle John was a special person to us (Marilyn, Dianne and I). The times around the dining room table with the good times and laughs and deserts...his marvelous deserts. And, no one can forget the picnics at the Cottage with all of us tearing around the woods out back. And, there was the winter visit to your home when there was the light snow...again out in the woods out back. All were good times and are some of our favorite memories.
It doesn't seem fair that recent events prevented us from making the trip. Another month and there would have been no problem.
Please know that Uncle John and all of you are in our thoughts and prayers. We will miss Uncle John's quiet voice and his genuine laugh.
God Bless you and keep you all and our favorite uncle in the whole world in His heart of hearts.

Our hearts, thoughts and prayers go out to all of you during this time of sadness. John was a wonderful, good-hearted person and he will always have a special place in my memories.
