Dear Patty and Ray and family,

I just heard of this tonight and my heart breaks for you. Margaret was such sweet person.

You guys really inspired me so much when we were neighbors. So truly friendly and warm and gracious. You prepared me, by example, for many lessons on how to navigate being a parent in the real world, by just welcoming me into your warm, loving home. Your family holds a very special place in my heart. Please know that I am mourning this loss in my heart with you. My deepest condolences. Shannon

I am so blessed to have known you. You were there for me when my daughter was murdered and always tried to do things to make me smile. My first Thanksgiving without my daughter I did not want to cook and you showed up with two huge plates of food......that's just the kind person you are. Showing up at the hospital with chocolate everyone said I could not have...........then taking a pic and posting it on fb for all to see who said
